All About HIV/AIDS Speaker Panel

UNAIDS at Penn is partnering with Penn Repro Justice to organize an All About HIV/AIDS Speaker Panel on Monday, November 27 at 6-7 PM.

This panel will feature Dr. Dovie Watson, an infectious disease physician at Penn Medicine who focuses on HIV treatment for Black LGBTQ+ populations, David Acosta, the Founder and Artistic Director of Casa de Duende and a long-time advocate for HIV education and prevention, and Rafael Álvarez Febo, the former Executive Director for the PA Commission on LGBTQ Affairs. These speakers will share their personal experiences working with people living with HIV and advocating for them, and attendees will learn about the history of HIV/AIDS and what HIV/AIDS looks like in the US today.
