Onyx Spring Honor Roll

Event Description

The Onyx Spring Honor Roll is an annual event hosted by the Onyx Senior Honor Society that celebrates and uplifts first and second year students for their academic excellence, leadership, and community impact. During the event, first- and second-year students are formally recognized for academic achievement and for outstanding contributions across a range of areas including civic engagement, activism, cultural expression, and organizational leadership. Founded in 1974, the Onyx Society has a longstanding commitment to supporting underrepresented students at the University of Pennsylvania by fostering academic achievement, leadership development, and meaningful connections across class years. This event continues that legacy by honoring excellence while creating space for mentorship, reflection, and community building.
