Event Description

Civic engagement is a core value here, and in addition to living on campus, you are also citizen of the vibrant city of Philadelphia. Our Penn students regularly interact in creative and rewarding ways with the larger world. The Penn Engagement Presentation, moderated by Vice Provost for Education and Professor of Philosophy Karen Detlefsen, first-years meet some of these students, and learn more about the ways they’ve enhanced their education through engagement in the community.
