Sustainable Periods

Event Description

The Period Sustainability Workshop is a partnership between the Penn Women’s Center and Penn Reproductive Justice student group, to foster a discussion around period health, the environmental impact of traditional period products, chemical toxins and irritants, and other options like menstrual cups. We hosted a discussion circle and provided period care kits which included a free menstrual cup to participants. Participants also made period care packages that could be provided to students/community members throughout the semester. Presentation Link: Here
