Tips for Dialogue in the College Classroom

Event Description

In this interactive session we will explore together a variety of concerns that might arise when we are asked to engage in dialogue in the college classroom and then consider strategies to help us approach dialogue with greater comfort and intentionality. Each participant will have the opportunity to reflect privately on their own classroom participation style and will leave the session with individualized and actionable strategies to implement in classroom conversations this fall. There will be opportunity to meet and talk with peers in low-stakes, low-pressure ways about what makes classroom dialogue both challenging and an effective, even joyful way to connect with others.
