Beyond the Gallery Walls

Event Description

Come to the Collections Study Room for a behind-the-scenes look at artifacts from the Penn Museum Collection, and experience the kinds of interdisciplinary learning that can happen with and through museum objects. Participants will be able to view and handle objects ‘firsthand’, working with each other to develop an understanding of the object that is rooted in materiality, but extends to questions that drive art history, archaeology, language, psychology, economics, and beyond.
