Digging into Archaeological Science

Did you ever wonder what really happens to a museum artifact beyond display? The Center for the Analysis of Archaeological Materials (CAAM) is the way for Penn students to find out by taking classes in archaeological science, working in laboratories, and becoming involved in original research on Museum collections and other projects. CAAM Teaching Specialists will lead a tour of the labs, discuss student research, and connect gallery displays with the behind-the-scenes work that brings science to archaeology.
