2025 Second-Year Orientation (SYO)

Second-Year Orientation (SYO) is a way for returning students to again be introduced to the amazing clubs, activities, and resources Penn has to offer, while also having fun with friends and fellow classmates.

 In collaboration with the ClassBoard, SYO 2025 will occur from Sunday, August 24 to Friday, August 29. We’re working on an SYO experience that brings your class together to explore intellectual and cultural spaces—both on campus and throughout Philadelphia. From the Arthur Ross Gallery and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) to a Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park, there’s something for everyone!

We hope SYO will reintroduce you to Penn, and we encourage you to take full advantage of the programs and opportunities offered by our office during the academic years as well, including the Second-Year Experience (SYE) Grant, and the Penn Mentor Meals.
