Preceptorials are not-for-credit educational sessions designed to highlight the University’s intellectual richness, foster a sense of belonging within our shared community, and help students shape their Penn experience.
These sessions focus on these key areas: Academic Life, America 250, Civic Engagement, Community Building, Cultural Awareness, and Wellness.
Preceptorials typically run 45 to 90 minutes and may be offered multiple times during the available time blocks. While small-group interaction is encouraged, larger sessions can also be accommodated.
During the academic year, Preceptorials can be hosted by Penn faculty and/or Penn staff. For faculty and teaching staff, Preceptorials can be an opportunity to share passions related to their teaching and research interests.
We accept Preceptorial submissions on a rolling basis. Reach out to Andrea Naughton at andrea29@upenn.edu with any questions.
